Landlord Rejects Haunted House Claim

A housing association has denied reports that one of its tenants has asked to move home because she believes her house is haunted.
East Midlands Housing Association said Stacey McGill has contacted them about paranormal activity, but has not said she wants to leave the home.
Newspaper reports have said Ms McGill is demanding a new home after experiencing lights turning themselves on and off, unexplained sounds of maintenance work at 3am, and feelings of ‘spider webs’ on her skin. She has reportedly called in a paranormal investigator, who concluded there was a supernatural presence in the house, but that it did not intend any harm.
A spokesperson for East Midlands Housing Association said while it is aware of the problem Ms McGill had never asked to move home. He said Ms McGill moved into the property in December 2011, and raised concerns about the problem in May 2012, but then said in June that she did not want to move.
